Position Description

BlueWave is growing rapidly and has an immediate opening for a Talent & Onboarding Manager to serve on the People Team. This individual will   coordinate all recruiting and hiring activities at the Company - from the   creation of job descriptions through the onboarding of new employees. Working under the direction of the Senior Director of People, the Talent and Onboarding Manager will serve as an   integral member of the People Team. This   position requires a professional with strong interpersonal skills, that is experienced in working with hiring managers to ensure that the proper talent is being identified and obtained.  As our Team at BlueWave gets filled out this position will take on additional human resource generalist tasks.

This is a hybrid position - the ideal candidate will have the ability to work from home, out of the Boston office.

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Coordinate all recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel.
  • Manage communication between candidates and the Company throughout the process from the initial application through the hiring & onboarding process.
  • Conducts all new-employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Create   and maintain job descriptions for all positions within the company.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications of staffing needs and assist in   identifying qualified candidates.
  • Ensure that all open positions are posted and updated on appropriate industry job boards.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews.
  • Draft and send offer letter packages and ensure that all necessary documents have been executed and retained.
  • Ensure that all workplace posters are maintained and updated regularly.
  • Additional HR duties as time allows for which you are qualified.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of human resource generalist experience and specific experience with talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation.
  • Must be proactive and self-directed with the ability to work independently and to coordinate teams effectively and diplomatically.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and specifically with recruiting software.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity is preferred but not required.
