What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a passionate and hardworking candidate to join our Operations Team as an Operations Manager on our Community Solar Enrollments Team to help scale our ability to enroll customers accurately and quickly. Community solar is the fastest growing segment of the solar market. It enables anyone to benefit from solar energy by digitally subscribing to a remotely located solar farm. With no installation and guaranteed savings, it’s no surprise community solar is among our most popular consumer offerings. This role will be responsible for managing community solar enrollments across a wide range of state and utility programs.

What you'll do:

  • Manage, guide, and coach a team of mission-driven coordinators
  • Work with our internal product and data analytics teams to analyze our member data, evaluate community solar program eligibility, and manage enrollments
  • Use Excel, utility forms, and our proprietary software tools to complete the enrollment process and connect members to a community solar project
  • Organize, track and deliver customer community solar subscription agreements and disclosure forms to our end use customer, our community solar partners and certain regulatory bodies
  • Initiate and manage communications requirements to current and future potential community solar subscribers (such as enrollment campaigns, project updates, savings reports, and more)
  • Track important project milestones, including subscription levels, enrollment timelines, savings results, and more
  • Prepare reports for internal stakeholders, present results, and incorporate operational improvements based on findings
  • Become a community solar subject matter expert and contribute to maintaining our knowledgebase of utility-specific operating procedures and regulations
  • Work with our member experience team to provide insight they may need in answering questions or troubleshooting account issues
  • Build relationships with utility representatives to maintain active community solar subscriptions and ensure accurate bill crediting

What will help you succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years professional experience in an management role
  • Proficiency with Excel and data management, SQL nice-to-have
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Team-first attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of taking initiative
  • Ability to problem solve, find creative solutions, and build out best practices
  • Be flexible and excited to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs
