What we’re looking for:

Arcadia is seeking a quantitative analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team and support our Marketing, Product, and Product Operations teams.  Specifically, you will help grow our Community Solar customer base by understanding and influencing both customer acquisition and enrollment. You will address complex, high-impact questions, become a subject matter expert on the analytics team for all things pertaining to our Community Solar customers, and will also enable day-to-day operations through data. You will be responsible for the full data analysis lifecycle -- including problem definition, data preparation, analysis, synthesis, and recommendations.

What you'll do:

  • Drive growth of the Community Solar business by deeply understanding and improving the full customer lifecycle
  • Use advanced analytical techniques to understand and predict the behavior of our existing customers so that we can improve business outcomes around conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Enable day-to-day operations by unearthing customer-level data
  • Use analytical principles and structured thinking to:
    • Partner with Marketing to craft campaigns and experiments aimed at converting people onto Arcadia Community Solar projects
    • Partner with Product Operations to identify and eliminate problems that prevent enrolling existing customers onto Community Solar projects
    • Partner with Product & Engineering to derive insights about the Community Solar customer experience and put features into place that maximize the lifetime value of our customers

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • 2-5 years work experience as an analyst in a business setting
  • Strong data skills, grounded in SQL
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Python, R, and/or Tableau (or other BI tool)
  • Ability to apply structured problem decomposition to identify root causes to complex problems
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes & recommendations, and an interest in teaching others
