Position Overview: The Marketing Communications Coordinator will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies, assisting with campaign planning and development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign, and developing lead generation programs. Identifying and utilizing an effective mix of online and offline tools and strategies is an essential component of the role. In this role, you will interact with and manage both internal and external collaborations and vendors. This position will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term success of the company. The right candidate must believe in Solstice’s missions of promoting renewable energy and increasing energy equity,  as well as be driven, gritty, communicative, collaborative, organized and possess a do-what-it-takes mentality.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement online and offline marketing strategies for company projects
  • Participate in preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of Solstice’s Marketing Plan, including budgeting and short/long-term strategy
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on program development and implementation
  • Create and execute lead generation programs
  • Analyze data to determine campaign effectiveness
  • Oversee the design, production and distribution of collateral and marketing materials in support of sales and marketing programs
  • Write and edit marketing content including blogs, email, web, flyers, infographics, sales tools, video scripts and other assets as needed
  • Propose suggestions, recommendations and solutions to improve communications
  • Responsible for social media development including strategy, content development, management and audience interaction
  • Participate in development and updates of web content and organization
  • Additional marketing responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing or similar role preferred
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills across a variety of mediums
  • Experience in vendor identification and management a plus
  • Experience with marketing and business tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, WordPress, Hubspot, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office / Google Application Suite preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Growth mindset, open to learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities within marketing and communications
  • Creative and excited to develop new concepts and programs
  • Strong belief and commitment to continuous learning and improvement, positive attitude, teamwork, collaboration, accountability and ethical behavior
As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, You Will Have
  • Complete ownership and accountability over the role and functional area
  • Complete transparency into the rest of the company, the same is expected from you
  • A deep understanding of the solar and renewable energy space, particularly the rapidly growing community solar industry
  • Hands on startup experience in cleantech
  • Knowledge from and personal interaction with senior management
Salary: $50-55k
