Position Overview: The Growth Marketer supports the Marketing Team with planning, executing and tracking marketing programs and campaigns within our marketing tech-stack, including marketing automation and digital channels. In addition, this position will have ownership of these platforms and ensure that they are operating at peak efficiency, implement new functionalities and support other marketing team members in their use of these tools. In this role, you will analyze marketing success criteria and metrics and evaluate program results to optimize performance. From search, to social, to growth hacks, you will enhance our efforts across demand generation, advertising, landing page design, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation. You will also support and participate in marketing planning and strategy development. The right candidate must believe in Solstice’s missions of promoting renewable energy and increasing energy equity,  as well as be driven, gritty, communicative, collaborative, organized and possess a do what it takes mentality.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance data: identify trends and behaviors within marketing systems and make recommendations based on findings
  • Maintain marketing tech-stack; implement updates, upgrades and assess future improvements
  • Conduct regular audits on digital marketing platforms; analyzing results and making recommendations for further optimizations
  • Identify new trends and opportunities to further optimize digital marketing channels
  • Communicate the Solstice mission across multiple marketing channels including PPC (Facebook, Adwords, etc.) by developing content that increases customer engagement and lead generation
  • Support planning and implementation of digital marketing programs
  • Develop, maintain and optimize marketing automation platform
  • Coordinate and support marketing activities in assigned areas to ensure successful completion of project objectives
  • Assist with marketing planning and strategy development
  • Manage and monitor marketing dashboards and strategic metrics within Salesforce
  • Generate internal reports related to marketing performance metrics
  • Identify and manage external vendors
  • Additional marketing responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing operations, demand generation, or a similar role preferred
  • Strong digital marketing and analytical skills and experience
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills across a variety of mediums
  • Experience in vendor identification and management a plus
  • Experience with campaign analysis, strategic metrics, A/B testing, and reporting
  • Experience with marketing and business tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, WordPress, Hubspot, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office / Google Application Suite preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Growth mindset, open to learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities within marketing and communications
  • Creative and excited to develop new concepts and programs
  • Strong belief and commitment to continuous learning and improvement, positive attitude, teamwork, collaboration, accountability and ethical behavior
As a Marketing Operations Coordinator, You Will Have
  • Complete ownership and accountability over the role and functional area
  • Complete transparency into the rest of the company, the same is expected from you
  • A deep understanding of the solar and renewable energy space, particularly the rapidly growing community solar industry
  • Hands on startup experience in cleantech
  • Knowledge from and personal interaction with senior management

Salary: 50-55k
