About InClime:

InClime is an Annapolis, Maryland based organization dedicated to managing and running renewable energy and energy efficiency programs for utilities and public entities. InClime is focused on creating easy to navigate online programs that allow everyone from homeowners to large businesses to directly participate in programs that were previously limited to large, sophisticated entities. Our administration team assists clients qualifying for and participating in renewable energy and energy efficiency programs offered in various states and cities across the North America. Clients are supported via telephone, email, webinars and live training. InClime currently runs a number of programs in solar renewable energy credit solicitation and management, as well as several grant, loan, and low-income programs in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Position Overview:

InClime is growing and looking for a community solar program manager who will manage all aspects of the community solar portion of the Illinois Adjustable Block Program which InClime administers. This includes overall responsibility for the program running smoothly, providing both routine status and more strategic recommendations to the Illinois Power Agency, working with the three investor owned utilities involved in the program, ensuring community solar developers comply with program guidelines while also collecting stakeholder feedback and implementing program improvements based on that feedback, and approving and monitoring several thousand community solar subscriptions across several dozen community solar projects. This is a senior level role with a high degree of autonomy reporting directly to the company COO and wholly responsible for this program segment.

The applicant for this position must have significant experience in solar or other renewables. Strong preference will be given to those with community solar specific experience. This is not an entry level position, applicants must have at least 5 years of experience with at least a bachelor’s degree.

InClime’s main office is located in Annapolis, Maryland. Half of the company works remotely and the company is well positioned to support remote work. As a result, this position could work from anywhere in the country although time zone issues favor locations in the Central, Mountain, or Eastern time zones.

Position Requirements, Salary & Benefits:

InClime offers a competitive salary based on experience. Position includes 3 weeks (15 work days) of paid vacation time per year and includes the option to telecommute several days per week. InClime offers health insurance for employees and provides a 401k with employer match. The Illinois Adjustable Block Program operates in the central time zone, as a result work hours would normally be 9-5 Central Time.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in the solar industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience (Advanced Excel formula knowledge required)
  • Ability to perform work with clients via telephone and email

  • Community solar specific experience
  • Ability to work with provincial, state, and local governments
  • Able to develop business processes and improve existing processes
